Ms. Rivas has over 13 years experience as a licensed clinical social worker with a dual-language and multicultural background. She has worked in a variety of settings, including dealing with LGBTQ+ individuals, people suffering from addiction issues and survivors of sexual assault, and partners who have been sexually assaulted. In 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. Presently, telehealth mental health services are offered. Ms. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team that works with pregnant and post-partum women. She is a trauma-informed therapist for adult patients and is an expert in trauma care. She also offers individual and group therapy, Medication-Assisted Treatment Programs, referrals to specialty care Women's Support group. Amanda is an active volunteer with Best Friends Animal Society. She helps homeless pets find new places to call home. She wholeheartedly believes in Best Friends' slogan, save Them All and is determined to help make Los Angeles become a no kill city. Amanda always strives to get the most out of every day.
